THE PYROS-SET 1985-86 (70 x 100 cm on paper)

These drawings are about FIRE; that is the theme. I was thinking of the small, controlled fires in dry grass in late springtime in full daylight. The good smells of the thin smoke from dry herbs and wild flowers and the heatwaves from the very transparent flames. The drawings have been exposed together at Oslo Kunstforening 1986
